Tieto is seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our Data & Analytics project in the agricultural sector. You will design and architect data solutions, integrate data from multiple sources, and create scalable datasets supporting analytics and reporting.

You will work with business and technical stakeholders, shaping data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouse design across Azure services, while contributing to backend development when needed.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure data platform services.
• Strong hands-on with Azure SQL Database including schema design and indexing.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, data lakes, storage, and related services.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks, Spark SQL, PySpark, and Delta Lake.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex joins, CTEs and query optimisation.
• Understanding of data modeling, star schema, and dimensional modelling.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns and data warehouses/data lakes.
• Experience with multi-source data integration, APIs, data quality and error handling.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code and Azure security concepts.
• Strong stakeholder management and business language translation skills.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Design data models, ETL/ELT processes, data warehouse and data lake solutions.
• Ensure scalability, performance, data quality and validation of data solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, DBAs and other stakeholders.
• Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Support backend development when required.
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge within the team.
