Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Competency Center in Poland. You will design and build scalable data processing platforms in Data Lake architecture, and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks and related Azure services.

You will model data for analytics, implement batch and near real-time processing, and collaborate with data analysts, BI teams and Data Science. Fluency in English and Polish is required, and location in Poland is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data processing/integration projects
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with Spark/PySpark
• Design/build Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions
• Build/maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and use data orchestration tools
• Cloud-based Azure data processing projects (Databricks, ADF, Synapse, Fabric)
• Distributed data processing concepts and pipeline optimization
• English fluency; Polish fluency; located in Poland

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale data processing platforms in Data Lake/Platform architecture
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration in Azure Databricks
• Model data and shape structures for analytics and business needs
• Implement batch and near real-time data processing solutions
• Monitor, optimize, and improve existing pipelines
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and Data Science
• Gather requirements and propose optimal data solutions
• Create and maintain technical docs for solutions
• Support and mentor junior team members
