ISS A/S Warsaw is hiring a Cloud & Platform Operations Engineer to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, drive automation, and ensure secure, scalable operations. Hybrid work arrangement in Warsaw, Poland, with Azure-focused responsibilities across migration, monitoring, and incident response.

The role emphasizes IaC, security posture, and collaboration with Security Architects to uphold best practices while supporting ongoing cloud initiatives and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Azure cloud platform with 4+ years hands-on admin/deployment/migration experience.
• Understanding of Azure Security features.
• Solid knowledge of IaC frameworks (Terraform or Bicep) and related tools.
• Understanding of DNS, NSG, and virtual networks (vNet).
• Containerization / AKS knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Assist cloud migration initiatives towards Azure IaaS or PaaS.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and implement security best practices for Azure workloads.
• Handle cloud incidents and service requests, including security events.
• Participate in cloud projects from design to operational readiness checks.
• Maintain Azure Security Guidelines with Security Architects.
• Lifecycle management for hosted applications.
