Job summary

ISS Facility Services is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer (Analytics, Data & AI) to join our Hybrid team in Porto, Portugal or Warsaw, Poland. You will manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and optimize performance for AI-enabled platforms.

You’ll design scalable cloud solutions, build CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with analytics teams to deliver reliable, secure services at scale in a global setting. Strong Azure and scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

Must have proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role focused on cloud infrastructure.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including architecture fundamentals (Subscriptions, Resource Groups, networking, compute, load balancers, security, monitoring).
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or GitOps tooling.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Nice to have: experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash), including API integrations and Azure SDK usage.
Understanding of cost, security, and performance optimization in Azure environments.
Interest in Azure AI landscape and delivering AI platforms for developers.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, including ARM, VNet, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, Storage, Key Vault, Event Grid, Monitor, and Container Instances.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including self-hosted agents, artifact management, and automated pipeline execution.
Monitor and improve system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, Check_MK, Azure Monitor, and logging frameworks.
Define, implement, and maintain security controls aligned with ISS standards (RBAC, managed identities, service principals, NSGs).
Optimize infrastructure costs and performance using Azure Cost Management and related tooling.
Develop automation and integrations using Python scripts, REST APIs, and Azure SDKs.
Support AI infrastructure: Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI services, Azure Machine Learning, Azure API management.
Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and application layers.
