Job summary

HeadHR is looking for engineers in Kraków, Poland, who are equipped to lead major incident investigations, manage projects, and provide on-call support. You will work closely with Application Teams to deploy their applications to AWS, develop in Python, and automate various solutions.

The ideal candidate should have experience with AWS services, CI/CD tools, and a solid understanding of Linux or Windows operating systems. There is a strong focus on security and compliance throughout the role.

Responsibilities

• Engineers should be comfortable leading major incident investigations, providing on-call support and managing projects with junior colleagues.
• Work with App Teams to deploy their application to AWS
• Develop in python and automate solutions
• Write Terraform scripts where required
• Upgrade existing and develop new security controls
• Compliance dashboard enhancements
• Provide 24/7 global support and coverage (rotational)
• The role is a balance of development, support and engineers will be given autonomy for more creative work

• Demonstrable enterprise infrastructure delivery success stories.
• Good understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Proficient experience with CI/CD tooling including Jenkins, Git, Ansible, etc…
• Nice to haves include: Good non-functional testing experience; Understanding of risk management and ensuring compliance against relevant regulatory processes; Experience working in a highly regulated industry
