Job summary

Solid Company in Warszawa is seeking a senior Python backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable services. You will work on RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures using Azure as the priority platform.

The role requires hands-on experience with FastAPI and Django, Docker/Kubernetes in production, CI/CD, testing, and English communication in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in Python backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure — designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with GCP is acceptable as an alternative.
• Proven experience with FastAPI and/or Django.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Practical experience with GraphQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud architecture patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with testing practices (unit, integration, e2e) and code quality tools.
• Version control proficiency (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud/backend environments.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Communicate effectively in English.
