Job summary

Smartedge Solutions in Warsaw, Poland is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our centralized platform team. You will manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to ensure reliability and security.

Collaborate with development and operations, implement IaC with Terraform, build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI, and containerize using Docker/Kubernetes in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in a DevOps role with a focus on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, ECS and EKS.
• Proficiency in Terraform for provisioning cloud infrastructure.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
• Hands-on containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.
• Solid networking and cloud security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Manage, improve, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and platform solutions.
• Streamline deployments, build and optimize deployment pipelines, and enhance automation.
• Optimize Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions while following security best practices.
• Collaborate daily with developers and operations to resolve bottlenecks and provide reliable services.
• Work actively in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban).
