Job summary

Dabster Warszawa is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to collaborate with development and operations teams, streamline AWS deployments, automate pipelines, and optimize PaaS services within an Agile framework.

You will manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, ECS, EKS), implement IaC with Terraform, and build robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitLab CI. Strong scripting (Python/Bash) and security best practices are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a DevOps role with a strong AWS focus.
• Hands-on experience with EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
• Proficiency in Terraform for provisioning cloud infrastructure.
• Experience setting up pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• Networking concepts and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with development and operations teams, streamline deployments, enhance automation, and optimize existing Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions within an Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Manage, improve, and maintain client's existing AWS cloud infrastructure and platform solutions.
• Automation & CI/CD: Streamline application deployments, build and optimize deployment pipelines, and enhance overall system automation.
• PaaS Optimization: Optimize existing Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions while adhering strictly to BSH corporate guidelines and security best practices.
• Collaboration: Partner daily with software developers and operations teams to resolve bottlenecks and act as a reliable service provider within a centralized platform team.
• Agile Participation: Work actively within an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban), engaging in iterative delivery and close feedback loops.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a DevOps role, with a strong, dedicated focus on the AWS ecosystem.
• AWS Cloud Services: Hands-on experience deploying and managing services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, ECS, and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): High proficiency in Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
• CI/CD Tools: Strong experience setting up and maintaining pipelines using GitHub/GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
• Containerization: Practical, hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation task development.
• Networking & Security: Solid understanding of core networking concepts (subnets, routing, firewalls) and cloud security best practices.
