Job summary

limango Polska Sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced cloud platform engineer to operate and evolve our AWS-based Kubernetes platform. You will implement infrastructure as code, support CI/CD, and guide development teams in choosing AWS services and Terraform/Argo CD practices.

Join a hybrid-first culture with 2 days in the Wrocław office and remote options, contributing to cost governance, security, and scalable cloud solutions across Poland.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production cloud experience, ideally on AWS.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS) and IaC tools like Terraform.
• Experience with GitOps and CI/CD (GitLab CI).

• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and templates for infra dependencies.
• Support and improve GitLab CI, Argo CD, Istio-based deployment and traffic management.

• Advise dev teams on AWS services and Terraform/Argo CD adoption.
• Support GCP footprint with Firebase and BigQuery alongside AWS.

YOUR ROLE AND MAIN TASKS

You'll join our cloud platform team, responsible for operating the AWS platform end to end: Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD tooling, monitoring, security and cost governance. We work closely with application teams, providing them with templates, guardrails and hands‑on consulting so they can deploy and run their own workloads autonomously wherever that makes sense.

What you'll do

• Operate and evolve our AWS EKS (Kubernetes) clusters, including upgrades, plugins and configuration.
• Build and maintain Terraform modules and templates for infrastructure and application dependencies (databases, queues, caches, permissions), used self‑service by development teams.
• Support and improve our GitLab CI, Argo CD and Istio‑based deployment and traffic management setup.
• Operate core platform services: networking, foundation services, IAM, and centralized backup.
• Contribute to our centralized monitoring and logging stack.
• Work on security and compliance topics using AWS Security Hub and SCPs, partnering with development teams on findings.
• Consult development teams on AWS service choices and application design, and support their adoption of Terraform and Argo CD.
• Support our GCP footprint, particularly Firebase and BigQuery, alongside our core AWS platform.

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Several years of hands‑on experience operating cloud infrastructure in production, ideally on AWS.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes (EKS or similar), Argo CD and Istio, and infrastructure as code (Terraform or comparable).
• Familiarity with GitOps‑style deployment tooling and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar).
• Working knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS/DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch.
• Practical knowledge of GCP, specifically Firebase and BigQuery.
• A security- and cost‑conscious mindset, and the ability to explain trade‑offs clearly to development teams.
• Good written and spoken English (our internal working language); German or Polish is a plus but not required.
