Job summary

State Street seeks a Poland-based AVP, Senior Data Enrichment and Economic Analyst to combine economic analysis with web-sourced data enrichment and quality oversight for inflation and FX data. You will partner with global teams to deliver scalable solutions and manage data lifecycle across multiple workstreams.

The role requires strong analytical judgment, technical capability, attention to detail, and initiative, with emphasis on leading automation and governance of data processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience curating and enriching data for inflation and FX analytics.
• Experience evaluating web-based data sources for relevance, coverage, reliability, and continuity.
• Experience training others on inflation and FX data processes, methodologies, and quality standards is preferred.
• Exposure to data pipelines, automated quality controls, classification models, or AI and machine learning techniques is beneficial.
• Experience with Python, SQL, STATA, MATLAB, or similar analytical tools is helpful.
• Good communication and English language skills (both written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Lead enrichment and classification of economics-focused datasets with statistical methods, business rules, and AI techniques.
• Oversee daily index monitoring, data-quality controls, and publication readiness for inflation and FX datasets.
• Analyze inflation and FX trends across countries and sectors to identify data requirements and product opportunities.
• Drive PPP product development with Boston Economics team using item-level pricing data and FX/inflation dynamics.
• Automate manual processes, strengthen controls, and improve end-to-end workflow efficiency.
• Communicate complex macro concepts clearly to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Coach and support junior team members, ensuring consistent quality standards.
• Manage multiple workstreams and stakeholder relationships, addressing risks, dependencies and timelines.
