Job summary

State Street seeks a Product Development Analyst, AVP to drive the development roadmap for new data products. You will perform market research, collaborate with data engineers, and define requirements to launch data-driven solutions.

You will work within Institutional Services, focusing on integrating market data, vendor data, and analytics tools while ensuring data quality and delivering client-ready insights. This role emphasizes cross-team collaboration and continuous product improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, data science, business or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quantitative research, product development, data analytics, or investment-related roles.
• Experience working with financial market data (public and private datasets).

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify trends, client needs, and opportunities for new data products.
• Collaborate with data engineers and technology teams to design, prototype, and build data products and analytics tools.
• Help integrate and manage market and vendor data, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Implement research data products, such as investor behavior and risk indicators, with Global Markets Research.
• Maintain existing data products and support client deliverables.
• Maintain documentation of product features, data models, and user guidelines.
