Job summary

Infolet is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to lead automation efforts for aviation software solutions. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites across UI, API, and integration tests, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to ensure quality across the SDLC.

The role focuses on test automation, cloud deployments, and continuous improvement; strong programming skills and a data-driven mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Java, with emphasis on test automation.
• Practical experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API testing and validation.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms.
• Experience testing cloud-based apps, preferably AWS and Kubernetes.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Independent worker with proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests that support various airline operations and business processes.
• Design, build, and improve test automation frameworks to increase test coverage, efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain test tools, scripts, and automation solutions using various programming and scripting languages.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Build and use automation tools that support CI/CD pipelines and the software release management process.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to promote quality best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
