Job summary

Nordea Bank Norge ASA is seeking an Availability Layer DevOps Engineer for the Integration SRE team. You will help build and operate a cloud-based availability layer using AWS EKS, S3, Snowflake, and Terraform Enterprise, with on-call rotation potential.

Ideal candidates bring experience in DevOps, cloud platforms, and automation tooling. The role involves collaboration across countries and evolving infrastructure in a large banking environment. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps solutions and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Automation of infrastructure and deployments using Terraform/Jenkins/Argo CD.
• Understanding SQL and data formats; Git for source control.
• Monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana; scripting with Python or Bash.
• Experience with Kafka is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build new infrastructure components on cloud platforms and tools (AWS EKS, S3, Snowflake).
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration processes.
• Act as Site Reliability Engineer and participate in on-call rotation if required.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple countries and stakeholders.
• Expand knowledge by working in a large environment with skilled colleagues.
