Job summary

Nordea Bank Abp, Poland, seeks an Availability Layer DevOps Engineer for the Integration SRE team. You will build and operate cloud-native infra for a new Availability Layer platform, leveraging AWS EKS, S3, Terraform Enterprise and Snowflake, with potential on-call rotations.

You will automate deployments, monitor services with Prometheus and Grafana, and collaborate across multiple countries. The role demands hands-on DevOps experience and a proactive, service‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps solutions across multiple platforms.
• Cloud platforms knowledge, esp. AWS.
• Automation of infrastructure and processes using Terraform, Jenkins and Argo CD.
• Understanding of SQL and data formats like Apache Iceberg.
• Source control using Git.
• Monitoring with Prometheus/Victoria Metrics/Grafana.
• Proficient in Python or Bash scripting.

Responsibilities

• Build new infrastructure components on cloud platforms (AWS EKS, S3, Terraform Enterprise, Snowflake).
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration.
• Serve as a Site Reliability Engineer to support service issues (on-call rotation possible).
• Collaborate with team members across countries.
• Learn from experienced colleagues and expand platform knowledge.
