Qualifications

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help deliver solutions for business-critical banking applications, particularly with a newly formed Availability Layer platform, which relies on existing building blocks of Communication Layer (Kafka), Snowflake and AWS S3. This is a full-time permanent position that may require participation in the on-call rotation.

About our team

Meet the Integration SRE team. Our role is to provide, automate, and support IT infrastructure platforms based on a modern IT toolset to drive highly available and cost-efficient applications.

What you'll be doing

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Building new infrastructure components, based on cloud platforms and tools, such as AWS EKS and S3, Terraform Enterprise and Snowflake
• Automating infrastructure deployment and configuration
• Acting as a Site Reliability Engineer to support service issues, including a potential participation in an on-call rotation
• Working closely with team members and other stakeholders across multiple countries
• Expanding your knowledge and horizons by having access to a large environment and learning from fellow technology-obsessed colleagues

Who you are

This is the right role for you if you have a good mix of deep technical and soft skills and strive to continuously improve our services.

Your background and skills include:

• Experience with various DevOps solutions
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS
• Experience automating infrastructure and processes using tools such as Terraform, Jenkins and Argo CD
• Understanding SQL and data structures and formats, such as Apache Iceberg
• Source control using Git
• Monitoring with Prometheus/Victoria Metrics/Grafana
• Python, Bash, or another scripting language

It would be ideal if you also:

• Prior experience with Kafka
