Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an engineer to assemble and operate validation test setups for automotive electronic systems. You will build test racks, run tests, and manage data while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronics, at least 2 years in testing, and strong communication skills in English. Travel is required at the initial stage, with up to 5% subsequently.

Qualifications

• Role involves assembling and executing validation test setups for automotive electronic systems.
• Requires hands-on experience with electrical systems and safety standards.
• English fluency is required; additional German/French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build/assemble validation test racks and related equipment.
• Conduct validation test setup and execution.
• Maintain automated monitoring for in-spec test execution and peripheral systems.
• Follow calibration and maintenance programs as laboratory representative.
• Apply up-to-date safety guidelines and manage test data.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of validation test equipment.
