Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an experienced System Engineer to join an automotive project focused on camera-based vision systems within the Interior Sensing domain, including Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) and Cabin Monitoring Systems (CMS), located in Kraków, Poland.

You will analyze customer requirements and automotive standards, define system parameters and product functionalities, and develop documentation in line with ASPICE SYS processes.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in System Engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of ASPICE SYS processes and automotive engineering standards.
• Understanding of automotive technical solutions and system thinking.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and electronic measurements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements, automotive standards, and technical specifications
• Define system parameters and product functionalities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation in line with automotive standards
• Plan and coordinate technical activities and resources
• Support vehicle and bench testing when required
• Work closely with Software and Test Engineering teams
• Participate in system reviews and project meetings
• Communicate directly with customers on technical topics
• Ensure delivery according to quality standards and project schedules
