Job summary

Cooper Standard is seeking a Program Financial Controller to act as the finance business partner within our automotive program teams, from RFQ through Start of Production. You will drive profitability by analyzing margins and coordinating with design, manufacturing, and purchasing teams.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Finance or Industrial Engineering, 5+ years in automotive or aerospace, and strong Excel plus SAP costing experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance or Industrial Engineering.
• At least five years of experience in automotive or aerospace with strong industrial exposure.
• Advanced Excel skills and SAP costing experience; English fluency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with program managers to drive program profitability over time.
• Analyze product margins and their operational drivers, including BOMs, routings, cycle times, labor, scrap, and hourly rates.
• Challenge action plans and track profitability roadmaps.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, purchasing, sales, and plant teams.
