Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Tester to validate embedded systems with a strong emphasis on Python-based test automation. The role benefits from deep automotive industry knowledge and exposure to safety standards, UDS/DoIP protocols, and Android basics.

You will design and execute automated tests, analyze failures, and collaborate with developers to improve quality across our projects from automotive to digital product engineering.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python with Pytest for automated testing.
• Experience testing embedded systems running on QNX.
• Automotive industry knowledge including safety lifecycle concepts.
• Familiarity with UDS and DoIP protocols.
• Basic knowledge of Android development.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest.
• Execute a variety of software tests including integration and system-level tests.
• Perform fault tracing and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with software developers and other testers to ensure product quality.
• Report bugs and track their resolution using standard bug tracking tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation framework.
