Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Test Automation leader to drive the IT-wide automation capability. You will define strategies, evaluate tools, and enable reuse across Delivery Units and partners.

The role requires extensive experience in test management and automation, strong vendor relationships, and technical leadership without direct people management responsibility. You will collaborate with QA, Architecture, and external providers to raise standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a large global corporation.
• 7+ years in test management and test automation.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tooling.
• Experience evaluating and selecting enterprise technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the Test Automation technology strategy and recommended tool landscape.
• Evaluate and recommend Test Automation solutions for IT and enable reuse and adoption across Delivery Units.
• Lead tool evaluations, pilots and selection processes for use by Delivery Units.
• Coordinate with QA & Testing, Delivery Units, Architecture and external service provider.
• Track adoption, coverage and effectiveness of automation tooling.
