Job summary

N-iX is seeking an Automation QA Engineer in Kraków to join a team delivering a site lifecycle management solution for telecom and energy industries. You will automate tests for web applications, APIs and performance scenarios, ensuring high quality releases.

You'll work with Robot Framework, Postman, and K6, participate in SAFe agile processes, and help evolve CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience testing web applications with automation focus.
• At least 1 year of experience as automation QA.
• Experience with Robot Framework for automated testing.
• Experience in performance testing.
• Proficiency with Postman.
• Understanding of SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Strong experience with test management systems.
• Basic understanding of programming logic and workflows.
• Ability to perform UAT testing and validate application flows.
• Knowledge of end-to-end business/application flow testing.
• Familiarity with debugging defects and supporting UAT activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test cases using Robot Framework to ensure functionality, integration, and regression testing.
• Design and implement API and UI test automation frameworks using Robot Framework.
• Write custom Python libraries to extend Robot Framework for testing requirements.
• Use K6 for load testing and performance testing of APIs.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics from k6 to identify bottlenecks and scalability issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand new features and ensure appropriate testing coverage.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality test code.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Generate and maintain detailed test reports, logs and performance metrics.
