Job summary
Iautomatyka in Poland is seeking an Automation Engineer to support the implementation and enhancement of automated mechanical systems. You will help design, deploy, and optimize automation solutions across manufacturing lines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data exchange with PLCs, SCADA, MES, and other control systems.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing automation, strong CAD skills, and a hands-on approach to testing, documentation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing automation.
- Strong English communication and cross-functional teamwork.
- Proficiency in CAD software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX.
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA, MES and other industrial control systems for data exchange.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and enhancement of automated mechanical systems and components.
- Evaluate technical solutions and conduct supporting research ensuring alignment with project requirements and company global standards
- Perform feasibility studies, simulations, and performance testing to validate automation concepts.
- Improve existing manufacturing processes and workflows through automation.
- Analyze production data and recommend actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to deploy and optimize automation solutions.
- Program and configure automation tools including PLCs, robotic systems, and sensors.
- Troubleshoot and maintain automated systems to ensure stable and efficient operation.
- Document technical specifications, workflows, and maintenance procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and recommend relevant upgrades.
