Job summary
Sungrow Europe is seeking a Maintenance & Automation Engineer to lead the installation, commissioning and ramp-up of automated production lines, ensure equipment is introduced to plan, and maintain high uptime through proactive maintenance and precise troubleshooting.
The candidate should hold a degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Automation, 3+ years in industrial automation, experience with Siemens PLCs (STEP 7/TIA Portal), Profinet, servo systems and pneumatic components, plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or related field.
- 3+ years in industrial automation, electrical design/commissioning, equipment management or production line maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; PLC-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission and ramp-up of production lines and equipment with issue tracking and verification.
- Perform daily and preventive maintenance of automated production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair PLC/electrical and mechanical failures (servo systems, pneumatic components, drives).
- Carry out wiring checks and circuit commissioning per schematics.
- Analyse breakdown data and implement improvements to OEE and reliability.
- Prepare maintenance documents and SOPs; manage spare parts inventory and supplier coordination.
- Coordinate with contractors for facilities maintenance as needed.
