Job summary

Sungrow Europe is seeking a Maintenance & Automation Engineer to lead the installation, commissioning and ramp-up of automated production lines, ensure equipment is introduced to plan, and maintain high uptime through proactive maintenance and precise troubleshooting.

The candidate should hold a degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Automation, 3+ years in industrial automation, experience with Siemens PLCs (STEP 7/TIA Portal), Profinet, servo systems and pneumatic components, plus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or related field.
3+ years in industrial automation, electrical design/commissioning, equipment management or production line maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; PLC-related issues.

Responsibilities

Install, commission and ramp-up of production lines and equipment with issue tracking and verification.
Perform daily and preventive maintenance of automated production equipment.
Diagnose and repair PLC/electrical and mechanical failures (servo systems, pneumatic components, drives).
Carry out wiring checks and circuit commissioning per schematics.
Analyse breakdown data and implement improvements to OEE and reliability.
Prepare maintenance documents and SOPs; manage spare parts inventory and supplier coordination.
Coordinate with contractors for facilities maintenance as needed.
