Job summary

Xebia is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer/DevOps professional to design and implement scalable automation across incident management, service requests, and operational workflows. You will develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and deployment automation, while collaborating with Platform Operations, SRE, and Service Management teams to identify opportunities for improvement.

Applicants have 5+ years in automation/DevOps, strong Python and cloud experience, and proficient use of IaC

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Automation Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or a similar role.
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity.
• Strong experience with Python, IaC, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and modern platform engineering practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and incident management.
• Demonstrated software engineering practices: testing, version control, code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset and passion for improving operational efficiency through automation.
• Good English communication skills (at least B2).
