Job summary

Scale-X Solutions seeks an experienced Mechanical & Refrigeration Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for commercial and industrial projects. You will work with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive estimates that support successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience estimating mechanical, refrigeration, or HVAC projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical and refrigeration projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs from mechanical, refrigeration, HVAC, and plumbing drawings.
• Develop accurate BOQs and cost breakdowns.
• Estimate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractor costs, and project overheads.
• Prepare competitive tenders, quotations, and bid proposals.
