Job summary

European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking an Associate Transaction Processing & Digital Transformation Officer for its Luxembourg headquarters. The role combines financial operations expertise with data analytics and emerging technologies, supporting automation and DLT-based settlement models.

The position is full-time, grade 4, with a permanent contract and relocation support. You will join a multidisciplinary team within the MSM/BDM units, reporting to the Head of Unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-equivalent degree in Finance, Maths, Eng or Data Science.
• Minimum 3 years in Treasury/Derivatives or back office.
• Strong knowledge of financial products and SWIFT settlements.
• Experience with data analysis and dashboards (Power BI).
• Exposure to automation and AI use cases.
• Knowledge of distributed ledger concepts.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end Borrowings, Treasury and Derivatives transactions.
• Ensure timely confirmations, settlements and lifecycle events.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance and risk.
• Identify automation opportunities and support back-office transformation.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT and Data teams.
