A higher education institution in Lublin is seeking candidates for a teaching and research position in Literature. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Polish Philology or Digital Humanities, have two years of teaching experience, and a research record in relevant fields. Proficiency in English at B2 level is also required. This role involves engaging in academic life and may require organizational skills as well.
Candidates must meet the requirements set out in Articles 113 and 116(2) of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, and satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
Research Field: Literature.
Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates entering the competition are asked to submit the following documents:
Copies of documents confirming education, qualifications and professional experience.
Information on the candidate’s research, teaching and organisational achievements.
Information on planned research activities with indication of expected outcomes.
Statement confirming that KUL will be the primary place of employment if the candidate is selected.
Statement confirming compliance with Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science.

Selection process
The first stage of the competition procedure involves verification of submitted documents. Offers that pass the initial verification will be subject to substantive evaluation, which may include an interview (in person or online), upon prior arrangement with the Candidate.
Resolution of the competition does not result in the establishment of an employment relationship.
The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
The University reserves the right to close the competition without a decision.
The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin reserves the right to contact only selected candidates, the right to notify only the selected candidate of the decision to fill the position, and the right to leave the competition inconclusive.
