Job summary

HRK S.A. is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join the Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role blends accounting and controlling with a strong focus on financial reporting, month-end closing, reconciliations, compliance and internal controls.

You will work with local and international Finance teams, reporting to the Controlling Manager. The position offers exposure to international projects and a competitive gross monthly salary of 18,000–21,000 PLN.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance or controlling.
• Experience in an international organization and/or Big4.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and local accounting regulations.
• Experience with local tax reporting and statutory requirements.
• Understanding of internal controls / SOX.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• SAP experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of other languages like Italian or French is a plus.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare financial reporting, reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Support statutory, tax and audit-related activities.
• Ensure IFRS and local GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Assist with group reporting and preparation of financial statements.
• Coordinate with Tax, Treasury and other Finance teams.
• Contribute to process improvement and standardization initiatives.
