The role requires deep proficiency in backend engineering, cloud deployments, and data pipelines, with a track record of delivering scalable systems in a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering & system architecture experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering mission‑critical systems in financial services/risk tech is a plus.
• Proficiency in back-end languages (Java, Python, Go, or C++).
• Cloud platforms and container-based deployments with CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architectural strategy for Citi's Risk Management Platform.
• Set engineering standards, coding practices, testing automation, and CI/CD across teams.
• Lead system design and technical integration for complex enterprise functions.
• Mentor engineers and analysts; manage cross‑functional delivery streams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust architectures.
• Ensure governance, security, and regulatory compliance across platforms.
