Job summary

Flex is seeking an Applications and Database Specialist to be based in Tczew, Poland. You will ensure the reliability and operation of business applications, including ERP, MES, HR, and Financial Systems.

You will perform day-to-day administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise applications, collaborate with external vendors and internal teams, and develop solutions to improve productivity and user experience. Proficiency in SQL Server and documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 2-5 years IT business analyst and DB administration experience.
• Polish and English language skills.
• Eligibility to work in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementation, enhancement, and support of business applications.
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and help desk teams for seamless operations.
• Develop and support business solutions to improve productivity and user experience.
• Define procedures and technical solutions to enhance performance, stability, and security.
• Create, analyze, and maintain reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Administer MS SQL Server databases.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for applications and solutions.

Job Summary

We are looking for a new Applications and Database Specialist employee to be based in Tczew

Summary:

Primary Objective: Ensure the reliability, availability, and continuous operation of business applications, including ERP, MES, HR, and Financial Systems.

What a typical day looks like:

• Participate in the implementation, enhancement, and support of business applications and system functionalities.
• Perform day-to-day administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with external vendors, internal consultants, Key Users, and Help Desk teams to ensure seamless system operations.
• Develop and support business solutions that improve productivity and user experience.
• Define and implement procedures and technical solutions to enhance system performance, stability, standardization, and security.
• Create, analyze, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Administration of enterprise system databases (Microsoft SQL Server)
• Prepare and maintain technical, functional, and process documentation for business applications and implemented solutions.

The experience/qualification we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 2-5 years experience in IT business analyst function and database administration responsibilities
• Good Polish & English language skills
• Eligibility to work in Poland

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP, MES, HR, or Financial Systems administration and support.
• Knowledge of SQL, reporting, and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with business users, external vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• ITIL®, ERP, or other relevant application/platform certifications are an advantage.
