Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking an Applications Support Developer in a hybrid role with flexibility for Poland or Spain. The position supports 2nd/3rd line issues, maintains and enhances existing software, and focuses on performance, reliability, and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide 2nd/3rd line support, diagnosing and resolving complex application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Application Maintenance & Enhancement: Maintain, debug, and improve existing applications, often writing code to resolve issues or add minor features.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor application performance, ensuring high availability, and optimizing systems for better performance.
• Release Management: Support deployment, release cycles, and environment management.
• Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, knowledge bases, and support guides.
