Job summary

Talos Automation in Poland seeks an Application Engineer in intralogistics and warehouse automation. In this technically focused, customer-facing role you will develop customer-specific intralogistics concepts, work with Sales and Project teams, and translate client requirements into viable technical solutions.

You'll create system concepts and layouts, estimate hardware and software needs, prepare proposals, and support project costing.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or equivalent.
Experience developing technical concepts, system solutions or layouts.
Understanding intralogistics or warehouse automation systems.
Strong English communication skills; customer-facing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop customer-specific intralogistics concepts and layouts, balancing functionality, feasibility and cost.
Collaborate with Sales during quotation and concept phases to provide technical expertise.
Estimate hardware, software, and engineering requirements for accurate project costing.
Prepare technical proposals covering system functionality, interfaces, and services.
Evaluate external suppliers in collaboration with Procurement.
Ensure clear technical documentation and handover to Project Engineering.
