Application and Integration Architect – Poland (Hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Sets standards in scope of design, development, quality and testing
- Designs and communicates enterprise‑wide databases architecture
- Design databases architectures, schemas, analytic platform and BI services, data governance
- Elicits needs, analyses requirements
- Transfers business, users and technical needs into architectures
- Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features
- Analyses available systems, applications and services
- Identifies options for potential solutions
- Maintains and tracks architecture in systems lifecycle
- Estimates and sizes network infrastructure in accordance with the requirements of the systems and business applications
- Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management
- Prepares system documentation and provides presentations
- Leads development teams and development processes
- Selects and evaluates technologies
- Collects and interprets system metrics
- Optimizes system from performance, security and quality points of view
- Contributes to Enterprise Architecture repository and manages required artifacts
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- B2 English level
- Master’s degree.
- At least 8 years of relevant IT professional experience.
Certifications (minimum four required)
- Iasa Architect CITA‑A or equivalent
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals or equivalent
- TIBCO Certified Associate or equivalent
- Certified SOA Architect or equivalent
Experience
- Experience with modelling in Archimate
- Experience with European Interoperability Framework or other interinstitutional frameworks
- Experience with applying architecture styles and patterns
Knowledge
- Has performed role of key architect in development of at least 1 enterprise‑wide integration platform deployment
- Minimum 2 years experience as an application architect, preferably in a public sector or EU agencies environment
- Expertise in architecting systems integration on data and API level
- Expertise in designing enterprise‑level integration platform connectors, flows, and services bus solutions
- Expertise in planning capacity and security of integration platform capabilities
- Familiar with integration patterns, standards and models
- Familiar with serverless and containerisation platforms in cloud and on‑premises infrastructure
- Hands‑on knowledge of integration platforms such as Tibco or Mulesoft, SOA, databases, application servers, communication middleware, web applications, cloud integration patterns, business intelligence concepts, systems integration, Software Development Lifecycle
- Sound knowledge of designing systems and applications in UML
- Familiar with DevSecOps approach
- Extensive experience in aligning application development with business needs
- Proficient in systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others
- Familiar with market‑wide architecture standards or frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well‑Architected framework or similar
- Sound knowledge about hybrid systems and applications integration
