Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support AP1000 containment vessel design and fabrication activities. You will report to the Manager of Reactor Vessel and Containment Vessel Design and Analysis for Reactor Component Engineering. This position can be hybrid at a European Westinghouse location or hybrid at the Cranberry Woods, PA facility.

We will not provide relocation. The base salary range for this position is 9,250 to 11,600 PLN gross per month, with

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design or analysis.
• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or equivalent.
• Understanding AP1000 containment vessel design documents, drawings, specs and calculation summaries.

Responsibilities

• Support interpretation of ASME design specifications and drawings.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop detailed designs and drawings for upgrades and new builds.
• Perform analytical calculations and evaluations using engineering tools.
• Coordinate with leads, project managers, customers, and suppliers on work scope.
• Occasionally travel to customer and vendor sites for on-site support and issue resolution.
