Job description

Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment? We are looking for an AP Accountant to support key financial processes such as invoice processing, intercompany transactions, and travel expense auditing in Travel & Expense team.

In this role, flexibility and adaptability to change are essential, as you'll be working in a fast-paced setting where collaboration, precision, and continuous improvement drive success. Key responsibilities:
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of processing invoices.
  • Posting PO and non-PO invoices according to Hempel procedures.
  • Follow-up of invoice approvals and dealing with business to clarify any discrepancies.
  • Verifying the correctness of postings (cost centers, units, VAT, employee ID).
  • Proactive role in reconciling accounts and open issues like: review of vendor statements and payment reminders on daily basis, supervision of timely approvals in invoice workflow system, providing explanation to questions raised by other departments.
  • Monthly and accurate AP-GL reconciliations, accruals posting, currency revaluations.
  • Quarterly reviewing of open transactions on vendor accounts, contact with vendors and taking action needed to clear all outstanding balances.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and regular process documentation update.
  • Performing relevant controls (ex. Impero controls).
  • Testing new releases of ERP systems (UAT).
Key qualifications:
  • You have university degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Account Payable or similar finance area
  • You are fluent in English language (minimun B2 level)
  • You present knowledge in using Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, especially Excel)
  • You have hands-on experience in D365, AX2009, SAP, SAP Concur or similar
  • You are a good problem solver who enjoys collaborating with team
  • You can take initiative and ownership in dynamic work environment
