Job summary

b2bnetwork is seeking an experienced IT Automation professional to join the team in Warsaw to design, implement, and optimize Ansible-based automation across diverse environments. You will build robust playbooks, develop advanced roles, and integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment velocity and reliability.

The role emphasizes working with the Ansible Automation Platform, writing clear documentation, and collaborating in Agile/Scrum teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Automation experience with significant Ansible expertise.
• Expert in Ansible playbooks, complex structures, variables, modules, and Python custom modules.
• Experience in infrastructure automation across servers, databases, storage, networks, and security automation.

Job description

Detailed description of work task to be carried out

Working with the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP): providing the monitoring and logging platform supporting stakeholders, developing new automated solutions.

Development of complex ansible roles and playbooks, in order to automated tasks across multiple environments, systems and applications. Creating robust, scalable and dynamic playbooks, and roles using Ansible advance features, whilst following coding standards and guidelines, debugging, troubleshooting and optimizing.

Must-have knowledge and experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT Automation, including significant experience in Ansible.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Ansible playbook development, structuring of complex playbooks and roles with extensive use of variables, modules, loops, plugins, templates etc. Configuration and management of resources in AAP, as well as experience in custom module development using python.
• Good knowledge and experience in infrastructure automation such as servers, databases, storage, network etc. Configuration management, automating application deployment as well as security and compliance related automation such as patching, configuration hardening, certificate renewals etc.
• Understanding and experience with Git, version control systems, and experience in integrating Ansible with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and Bamboo.
• Experience with working in Agile/Scrum teams and tools such as Jira, and writing clear and detailed documentation for developed processes.
