Job summary

Xebia in Poland is seeking a mid-level Android developer to join a strategic automotive vertical project. You will design and build native Android apps using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android tooling, collaborating with backend engineers and product teams to deliver scalable features.

With strong REST API integration (Retrofit preferred), you will contribute to end-to-end mobile solutions, participate in CI/CD workflows, and apply your knowledge of OOP, data structures, and algorithms.

Qualifications

• Mid-level Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose experience.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and native development.
• Experience integrating apps with REST APIs, preferably Retrofit.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with Gradle build processes and CI systems.
• English at least B2 level.
• EU work permit required.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing native Android solutions using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and product teams to deliver scalable features.
• Integrate mobile apps with REST APIs and ensure end-to-end functionality.
• Contribute to technical decisions and CI/CD practices.
• Adopt modern Android development tools and architectures.
