Job summary

Xebia is seeking a mid-level Android developer to join its automotive vertical in the European region. You will build native apps with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android tech, integrate with REST APIs, and collaborate with backend teams to deliver scalable features.

Required: strong Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, English B2, and EU work permit. Experience with CI, Gradle, and AI-assisted tools is a plus; location in Poland preferred.

• Mid-level Android development experience.
• English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing Android solutions for automotive vertical as part of a strategic initiative.
• Building and maintaining native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborating with backend engineers and product teams to deliver scalable features.
• Integrating mobile apps with REST APIs and CI processes.
• Using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and OpenCode in daily workflow.
• Contributing to technical decisions and solving development challenges.
• Ensuring reliable software delivery with modern build and CI processes.
