Job summary

ThunderSoft in Warsaw is seeking an Android Developer Intern to support maintenance and improvement of Android applications for mobile devices.

This paid internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in an international environment and contribute to ongoing product maintenance and support activities. You will work with Java/Kotlin and learn about the Android development lifecycle in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Android application development.
• Programming knowledge in Java, Kotlin and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance of Android applications
• Assist in implementing improvements and updates across the application lifecycle
• Contribute to testing and ensuring application stability and performance
• Help identify, analyze and report issues during development and testing phases

About the role

We are looking for an Android Developer Intern to join the team in Warsaw and support the maintenance and improvement of Android applications for mobile devices.

This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in an international environment while contributing to ongoing product maintenance and support activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance of Android applications
• Assist in implementing improvements and updates across the application lifecycle
• Contribute to testing and ensuring application stability and performance
• Help identify, analyze and report issues during development and testing phases
• Work with the team to support issue resolution and continuous product improvements

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field
• Basic understanding of Android application development
• Programming knowledge in Java, Kotlin and/or C++;
• Understanding of basic software development concepts
• Interest in mobile technologies and willingness to learn
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Student status and under 26 years old, as the position is offered under a contract of mandate

Nice-to-have

• Academic or personal projects related to Android development
• Exposure to mobile development tools (e.g. Android Studio)
