Job summary

Booksy, a rapidly growing, cloud-based marketplace, seeks a Data Analytics Lead to own the data's source of truth and lead a team of Analytics Engineers. You will transform raw data into actionable insights through Looker and establish robust CI/CD with GitLab while collaborating with Marketing, Finance, and GTM Ops.

Fluent English (C1) is required, and you will mentor teammates, shape the data ecosystem, and drive scalable data models across our global remote-first organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring data/analytics engineers in an agile environment.
• Deep expertise in building and maintaining enterprise semantic layers in Looker (LookML, Liquid, administration).
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Engineering-first mindset with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and structured data modelling (Kimball/Data Vault).
• Python scripting to integrate with APIs and automate workflows.
• Fluent English (C1) required for company-wide communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Analytics Engineers to transform raw data into actionable insights via Looker semantic layer.
• Mentor teammates, manage sprint priorities, and drive a high-performance culture.
• Own Looker architecture and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize tables.
• Partner with Marketing, Finance, and GTM Ops to translate business needs into scalable data models.
• Leverage Python, Looker APIs, or AI to automate repetitive workflows.
