Job summary

ZF Group in Poland is seeking an Algorithm Engineer-HD Mapping to join the Connectivity and HD Mapping team, building centimeter-accurate 3D maps from test-data into production pipelines. You will design spatial data processing workflows and fuse data from multiple sensors to enable scalable autonomous driving solutions.

The role requires 3+ years of software development experience, a strong algorithms background, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Solid foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with geometric algorithms, signal processing, or statistical methods.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement algorithms for spatial data processing and multi-sensor fusion.
• Optimize geometric computations for large-scale map generation pipelines.
• Build production-ready code that processes terabytes of real-world data.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers and ADAS teams to deploy your algorithms at scale.

The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.

Join our Connectivity and HD Mapping team building the technology that powers autonomous vehicles. You'll work on algorithms that process sensor data from our test fleet into centimeter-accurate 3D maps.
