Job summary

Box in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Software Engineer II for Network Operations. You will join the Cloud Operations team to improve incident response, build tooling, and drive observability across Box services.

You will collaborate with IT Operations, Public Cloud, and Engineering to ensure high availability and resiliency, applying AiOps in incident management and enhancing automation to reduce MTTR.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale production operations or reliability engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes and public cloud (GCP/AWS preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in CS or IS or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the core operations team focused on AiOps in incident management.
• Collaborate across IT Operations, Security, Public Cloud and Engineering to ensure high availability.
• Lead cross-functional teams through rapid incident resolutions using strong communication.
• Apply solid engineering practices around design, testability, scalability and maintainability.
• Build tools and processes to improve monitoring, incident response, and observability.
