Job summary

Spyro Soft is seeking a curious Software Engineer to join our AI initiatives team, working with our Chief AI & Information Officer on AI-driven innovations and partnerships with Chinese tech organizations. The role welcomes candidates at various levels, including students, who show strong AI interest and language skills.

You will collaborate across European and Chinese teams, contribute to AI development, and travel to China as required, with flexible contract options based on context.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Chinese (C1/C2).
• English proficiency at least B2.
• Background in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field (completed or in progress).
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
• Practical experience using AI tools and models.
• Experience using AI to support software development, programming, automation, or technical work.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel to China for business trips.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with confidential information and sign an NDA.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of AI-related initiatives and innovation projects.
• Research emerging AI technologies, tools, and trends, particularly within the Chinese technology ecosystem.
• Collaborate directly with the Chief AI & Information Officer on strategic AI projects.
• Participate in technical discussions with Chinese partners, technology providers, and stakeholders.
• Assist with evaluating AI solutions, models, frameworks, and development tools.
• Contribute to software development activities, including coding, testing, and prototyping.
• Help bridge communication and collaboration between European and Chinese teams and partners.
• Prepare technical analyses, documentation, presentations, and research materials in both Chinese and English.
• Support international business trips and meetings when required.
