Qualifications

• Experience programming for Android using Java/Kotlin.
• Experience contributing to architecture and design of systems.
• Professional software development experience (non-internship).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features for the Ring app, primarily in Android and occasionally iOS.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code with performance and reliability in mind.
• Use AI-powered development tools across the workflow: code generation, tests, reviews, debugging.
• Contribute to evolving team architecture and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and platform teams for end-to-end experiences.
• Maintain operational excellence by fixing bugs and improving observability.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
