Job summary

Opera is seeking an AI Product Builder to shape AI-powered developer tools and own product direction across multiple projects. You will prototype with AI tools, validate ideas with real users, and design agentic products where AI systems can reason, act, and collaborate with humans.

You will join a fast-moving team, shipping experiences within days, not months, and work closely with engineers and designers to turn concepts into working solutions with measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building with modern AI technologies (LLMs, AI tooling) and understanding AI capabilities and limits.
• Experience building products for developers or technical users (SDKs, APIs, infrastructure).
• 4+ years of product management experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong product discovery and problem-solving skills with data-informed decisions.
• Technical fluency enabling collaboration with engineers; coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-native products and workflows, defining how AI agents perceive, decide, act, and collaborate with users.
• Own product direction across multiple projects with engineering and design teams.
• Build and experiment with AI technologies, prototypes, and evaluation methods for rapid testing.
• Validate problems with user input, feedback, and usage signals.
• Write clear product specs, define measurable outcomes, and adjust direction based on learnings.
