Job summary

KIRA is seeking an Android software engineer to build the native Android experience for our AI Neobank app. This role values clean user flows, fast performance, product quality and reliable mobile features used by real customers.

You'll own Android features in Kotlin, collaborate with product and design, integrate backend APIs, and strive for low crash rates and smooth memory usage while exploring AI-assisted experiences where they genuinely improve the user journey.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development with Kotlin and production apps.
• Strong Android fundamentals, Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow and modern architecture.
• Experience delivering polished mobile UX and handling edge cases.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims and services.
• Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys.
• Integrate backend APIs and ensure stability and security.
• Improve performance, crash rate and memory usage.
• Use analytics and production issues to improve the product.
• Experiment with AI-assisted mobile experiences when beneficial.
