n8n GmbH is building an AI-native accounting function and seeking a hands-on accounting professional to own core operations. You will manage GL, AP/P2P, accruals, fixed assets, and month-end close, while partnering with FP&A to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

You’ll drive automation and AI-enabled improvements across multi-entity finance, and collaborate with auditors and regulators. You’ll report to the Head of Accounting & Tax, join a remote-first, international team, and have

Qualifications

• Hands-on GL and AP/P2P experience with solid fundamentals in journal entries, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of HGB or IFRS, VAT fundamentals, and when to seek expert guidance.
• Willingness to experiment with AI, build better workflows, and validate automated outputs.

Responsabilités

• Own Procure-to-Pay & Expense Operations end-to-end, including invoice handling, coding, approvals and biweekly payments.
• Deliver accurate accounting and manage month-end close with proper GL and cost-center coding.
• Build an AI-native accounting function using n8n and AI tools to identify automation opportunities and scale processes across multi-entity operations.
