Job summary

Allegro in Poland is seeking engineers to join the in-house AI & Automation team. You will design and build AI agents and automation workflows used by support teams across the Allegro One ecosystem, developing backend services in Python and C# and working with PostgreSQL and cloud technologies.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and utilize LLM APIs to automate repetitive tasks while improving development efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software development in Python and C#
• Practical SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge
• Experience with full SDLC, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring
• Daily use of AI tools in engineering workflow
• Strong ownership and delivery of complex tasks
• Ability to connect technical decisions with business outcomes
• Good communication with non-technical stakeholders
• Focus on code quality, maintainability and observability
• Willingness to mentor others
• English proficiency at B2 level

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AI agents and automation workflows for Allegro One ecosystem.
• Develop backend services and integrations in Python and C# with APIs and internal systems.
• Work with PostgreSQL for data analysis and diagnostics tooling.
• Take end-to-end ownership from problem understanding to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with support specialists, product and engineering teams to automate repetitive processes.
• Leverage LLM APIs and AI tools to improve development efficiency.
• Improve delivery and developer workflows with GitHub Actions, Docker, Azure AKS/Kubernetes.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
