Job summary

Northmill Bank in Katowice seeks an AI Engineer to design and implement advanced AI solutions using Bedrock and Quick AI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale, secure, and automate agentic workflows and ensure governance of LLM tooling and patterns.

The role involves hands-on development with AWS, GitHub Actions, Copilot, Cursor and Jira/Confluence, in a hybrid work setup. You will join a multidisciplinary team in an environment that values innovation, data-driven decisions,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience in software engineering.
• Solid experience with Amazon Bedrock & Amazon Quick AI.
• Solid experience in Python and adjacent tools.
• Solid experience with prompt engineering and prompt testing (structured outputs).
• Experience with designing harnesses for coding assistants, understanding of modern agentic patterns.
• Experience with cost optimization of GenAI solutions.
• Experience with using Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar agent frameworks.
• Understanding of data security and other risks associated with agentic workflows.
• Willingness and interest to collaborate and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with development teams to prepare scalable, secure agentic solutions.
• Drive evolution of our AI platform, adopting GenAI best practices in SDLC and automation.
• Participate in evaluation, cost optimization, and governance of tooling, LLMs and design patterns.
• Collaborate with AWS, GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Google Gemini, Jira, Confluence and Git.

The Scope Of Your Role

• As a AI Engineer, you will take part in the process of designing and developing AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Quick AI.
• You will have an impact on our engineering practices by partnering with development teams and helping them prepare solutions for scalable, secure and deterministic agentic development.
• You will be responsible for driving the continuous evolution of our AI platform, ensuring it adopts best practices of GenAI use in SDLC and business processes automation.
• You will participate in evaluation, cost optimisation, and governance of tooling, LLMs and design patterns for an agentic approach.
• You will work with: AWS, GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Google Gemini, Jira, Confluence, and Git.
• You will work using modern AI dev tools.
  
  

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in software engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with other AI oriented AWS services like Amazon Sagemaker or AWS Transcribe.
• Experience with the AWS platform beyond AI oriented services.
• Experience with working with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
• Experience with scripting using PowerShell 6+.
• Experience with software engineering best practices and modern delivery standards.
• Exposure to microservice infrastructure.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering practices.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
