Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. in Krakow, Poland invites 3–5 year CS/AI/SE/DS students for a part-time internship focused on AI-assisted test automation. You will work with Python, pytest, and modern engineering tools on real-world challenges.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a 3–5 year degree in CS/AI/SE/DS.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Familiar with Git and basic software development practices.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand the existing pytest-based test automation ecosystem.
• Explore and use pytest libraries for automated testing.
• Research and evaluate AI-assisted software and test development approaches.
• Develop a proof-of-concept for knowledge retrieval from tests, documentation, and engineering assets.
• Design and prototype integrations supporting AI-assisted engineering workflows.
• Build and validate an AI-assisted workflow for generating pytest test cases.
• Evaluate solution effectiveness using quality, maintainability, and productivity metrics.
• Document results and recommend future improvements for AI-supported test automation.
